“WHY BUY FROM AMAZON? READ THE BLOG   Leave a comment

Buy Groceries in Bulk

Amazon.com sells a lot food and household products in bulk sizes that you would see at warehouse stores such as Costco or Sam’s Club. I have purchased items at a large discount compared to buying them individually in a regular store. Examples of groceries that I’ve bough off Amazon at a discount include granola bars, shaving razors and cereal.

2. Price Shop for Big Purchases

When I’m making a big purchase (over $50 or $100) I will make sure to research the item on Amazon. I will look at review scores and comments as well as pricing. You can save a lot of money purchasing items on Amazon because they are able to sell things at a discount due to the volume of orders they have.

3. Free Super Saver Shipping

Look to lump together purchases you are making to reach the $25 threshold to get free super saver shipping. When your order includes eligible items and you go over the $25 baseline, you can get free shipping on your purchase. As long as you don’t need the product in a hurry, you can save a few dollars this way.

4. Amazon Prime

An even better option for saving money on shipping is to have an Amazon Prime membership. There is no $25 threshold to reach for free shipping when you have this membership, it is unlimited two-day shipping and if you do a lot of shopping on Amazon it is helpful to have. Also, (students get Amazon Prime free for a year).

5. Gift and Wish Lists

Instead of buying every thing you want off of Amazon add the items to a gift or wish list. You can set up multiple lists for different types of things you are looking to buy. Lists can also be sent to family and friends for birthdays, holidays, graduations or other celebrations for them to purchase items you want. This is a way to avoid getting the gifts you don’t want and instead receive things you’ve had your eye on for a while.

6. Buy Used

There are resellers on Amazon that sell used items from the same page as the new items. Look for whether or not you can save money on a purchase by buying a used book or movie instead of a brand new one. Be careful though of how much they charge for shipping. Some retailers will low ball their price to look the cheapest but charge the difference in shipping costs.

7. Save Time Shopping Online

A big reason why I like to shop on Amazon is that it saves time. I don’t have to drive to a store, look around for the item, decide whether or not it is priced well, etc. I can go online to Amazon, purchase an item quickly and get it shipped wherever I want it to. This is especially important during the holidays. The two places I hate going to around the holidays are the mall and the post office. They are always more busy then and by doing my shopping online I can buy presents and have them shipped directly to family around the country.

What other ways do you use Amazon.com or other online retailers to save money online?

The rare Siberian tiger gets its name from its cold homeland, which is covered in snow for much of the year. Its range is larger than that of any other subspecies, and it frequently embarks on long journeys in search of food.
HABITS

The Siberian tiger occupies a very large territory. Ranges of more than 4,000 square miles have been recorded. The tiger may occupy the same territory for many years if food sources are stable within the area. If prey is scarce, it often migrates hundred of miles.

Both males and females mark the boundaries of their ranges with urine and by scratching trees. But only the male defends his territory against other males, concentrating on the most important parts, such as a boundary close to a female’s territory or an area rich in food.

The male tiger is solitary, shunning other males. He allows tigers of either sex to pass through his range but is more tolerant of females. The female is sometimes accompanied by her young.

Tigers mate at any time during the year. A female shows that she is ready to mate by leaving urine deposits and scratch marks on trees. In Siberia, where a tiger’s range is vast, she may go in search of a male.

The female is receptive for only three to seven days. during this time a pair will mate many times, after which the male leaves to mate with another female.

After a gestation period of three to three and a half months, three or four blind cubs are vorn is a sheltered den. they are nursed by their mother, who rarely leaves them. At about two weeks old their eyes open and their first teeth begin to grow

At three months the cubs start to leave the den, and the mother brings them meat to eat. They continue to take her milk until they are five or six months old. At this stage they may begin to accompany her on hunting trips.

The cubs are less than a year old when they start to hunt for themselves. At two years old they can kill large prey, but they will not leave their mother until they are three to five years old. They then start to look for their own territories and mates.
The Siberian tiger spends a lot of time hunting because only about one in ten of its hunting trips is successful. It preys mainly on deer and wild pig, but it also eats fish.

Creeping to within 30 to 80 feet of its victim, the tiger pounces and grabs the prey by the nape of the neck with its back feet still planted firmly on the ground.

This name bite kills small prey, but larger prey is brought to the ground before being killed by a suffocating bite to the throat. If the tiger misses its prey on the pounce, it may chase if for up to 650 feet but rarely catches it.

When it does kill its prey, the tiger drags it to cover, usually near water. It then eats its fill, covers up the remains, and goes to sleep. Later it eats the rest of the carcass.

The Siberian tiger’s winter coat lacks the red stripes of tigers from warmer climates, but its white coat helps camouflage it in its snowy habitat.

Because it has to withstand temperatures as low as 50** F, the Siberian tiger grows a longer and thicker coat than other tigers. It also develops a layer of fat on its flanks and belly that helps to insulate it.

Length: Male, 9-12 feet head to tip of tail. Female smaller.

Height: About 3 1/2 feet at shoulder.

             Weight: 400-650 lb.

Its true, the bible conveys that same sexed people should not be together, says The God that created us..Yet Christian‘s are to show love.. love also means having Tolerance..Nobody should ever hate someone because they are gay, black, ugly or whatever it is about that person that they dont you like..the ones who insists on being evil are in fact the ones w/ the problem. Its not up to us lowly humans to judge or throw stones..I know these words will not truly make a difference…

The movie feels like a long version of The Wonder Years as we follow a teenage boy in the ’60s discovering the great mysteries of life in a coming-of-age movie. He is given an assignment by his teacher that involves him working with an unpopular student. In addition to having to worry about his cooties status by dealing with the unpopular group of students, he also has to deal with a bully, a father that doesn’t communicate too well, and his first crush. While all that is going on in his life, his teacher’s career is threatened by a rumor that Randy Orton‘s character threatens to go public with.

To all my Students   Leave a comment

To all my students at CIP  I have been trying  to teach you english for almost three years but,  the  management wishes to bring in non qualified teachers and gay men to teach ESL ( english as a second language).  I have tried in vain to teach my best in english so that you will become a great english speaker someday.  The management has hired non qualified teachers including gay men to try to teach you english in a very poor passion.  I cannot change the situation.  So I hope you find a good school that will teach you good english and how to pronounce it  properly.  For over two years, I have tried to make CIP a very good school, but what I see it is getting worst…… I hope you find a good school to learn good english in the future or follow me in my blogs where I will teach you all english.  I hope that you will follow my blogs to learn more english than what’s in the english books that you are learning from.

I hope and pray that you learn english from my blogs than any books can teach you.  Thank you for being my students,  and  I hope to see you all soon where ever will my new school  might be…

Sincerely,

Teacher Alvin Davis

★SOMEWHERE IN TIME (1980) Full Movie

Christopher Reeve got away from Superman and related costume roles in this dramatic fantasy film, adapted from Richard Matheson’s 1960s vintage novel Bid Time Return. A young playwright, Richard Collier (Reeve), is approached by an elderly woman on the occasion of his first triumph in 1972 — all she says to him is “Come back to me” and leaves him with a watch that contains a picture of a ravishing young woman. Eight years later, he visits the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and comes upon a photograph of the same woman, whom he discovers was an actress who made an appearance at the hotel in 1912
